I found a helpful Google Document prepared by a local charity with advice on where and how to shop during the first lockdown. Looking for something to keep me occupied during lockdown, I thought it would be useful to have that information available in a searchable online directory. Additionally, it would have the capability for businesses and organisations to submit their own information in order to keep it as comprehensive as possible.
When the Government launched a publically accessible API with the latest case rates for every area in the UK, I added that to the site as well.
